Sugaring season is upon us! Cherry Tree Hill maple syrup is gathered by hand using horse drawn sleighs and buckets just as it was done over a hundred years ago. All sap is from the Cherry Tree Hill Sugarwoods, boiled on site in small batches using wood fired equipment.
No pipeline, reverse osmosis, oil fired arch or even electricity is used in the sugarhouse, which dates to the 1700's. Sap is never allowed to sit in the holding tank overnight but is boiled daily during sugaring.
For this reason, Cherry Tree Hill Syrup is mostly Fancy Grade which is the grade above A grade. Most of the world does not even know there is a grade above A because so little is produced as it is time consuming and costly.
We have Fancy Grade Syrup available to you in Cherry Tree Hill lithographed tins with gift cards enclosed. Choose from Cherry Silos which are 4 oz. Cabins which are over 8 oz and Quarts which are 32 oz. This syrup is not available in stores--try some before we run out for the season.
