This shawl is a Faroese- style shawl and is knit in one piece from the top down. It combines a number of classical lace designs to emphasize the circular shape and create interest. Because of the knitted in shoulders it will happily settle in without use of shawl pins or other fastening devices. It is designed to be worn at approxamately elbow length but can be easily lengthened or shortened a few inches either way.
